Each for All: The Co-operative Connection

First Robin talks with Scott Nelson and Jeff Davis who are board members of the recently incorporated Vancouver Open Network Initiative – a not-for-profit membership-owned and managed Cooperative. The initiative seeks to provide hardware and software for members to create a mesh of networked wireless (wifi) devices.

 

Next Robin speaks with Charles Strader of the Gaia Hosting Collective. GAIA Host Collective, LLC is a socially and environmentally concerned, worker-owned collective providing reliable internet hosting services including domain registration, shared server hosting on Open Source and Windows platforms, and dedicated server hosting. Its main office is located at an ecovillage in Shutesbury, Massachusetts.
