Energy Co-ops

If it's good enough for Willie Nelson, then it's good enough for Each For All!

Today's show was all about sustainable energy co-operatives, as well as the environmental policies that guide their work. We opened with a speech by Guy Dauncey from his visit to Nelson on April 23rd of this year. Dauncey is a Victoria-based author and environmental consultant; he is also the president of the BC Sustainable Energy Association. From there, we move on to an interview with Deborah Doncaster and Kristopher Stevens, who respectively are Executive Director and Policy & Communications Director for the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association.

Eryk Martin interviewed Steve Rison, President, of Peace Energy Co-operative in Dawson Creeek, BC. You can listen to this interview separately below.

To wrap up, we hear from Kenji Fuse, of our local Island Biodiesel Co-op (website coming soon).

Supplemental Interview: While researching the show Robin interviewed Paul Gipe about energy tariffs in Canada and the USA. We need to look into making these policies better in our province. Listen to that interview below.
