Today on Each for All we take a look at campus-based co-operatives. University is a time for learning, trying new things and figuring out how one wants to fit into the world, so it’s fitting that many universities become a testing ground for taking part in the co-operative experience. To provide us with insight into campus co-ops, we speak with Chantal Cornu, from the Grand House Student Co-operative at the University of Waterloo. We will also get a perspective from Larissa Dutil from the Concordia Community Solidarity Co-op Bookstore in Montréal. But first, we had the pleasure of talking with Tom Klein Beernink, who is Manager of Housing & Member Relations for the OAC Students' Co-op at the University of Guelph in Ontario. Throughout the episode, host Robin Puga also references and reads from Youth Reinventing Co-operatives, a collection of stories about youth co-operatives from around the globe.
